Sauna Seat Towel – 100% Organic Turkish Cotton, Yellow & White Stripe – Amber

Amber is a 100% Organic Turkish cotton sauna seat towel from Sweat & Chill Co, handwoven in yellow and white stripes on traditional jacquard looms.

Its main job is simple, sit on it. In UK saunas, sitting directly on the bench isn't the done thing, a sauna seat towel protects you from hot, rough wood, soaks up your own sweat, and keeps you off whatever the last person left behind. It's the difference between a proper sauna session and an uncomfortable one.

It is important your towel is made from natural materials, many cheaper sauna towel or seat covers are polyester or microfibre, which can shed microplastic fibres and are prone to breaking down under repeated high heat. Heat plus sweat is exactly what opens your pores and increases what your skin absorbs. Natural Turkish cotton doesn't have that problem, it releases heat rather than trapping it against your skin, stays breathable, and holds up wash after wash, sauna after sauna.

A versatile towel that can also be used as a traditional towel after a sauna, the ice bath, or the shower to dry yourself, however, due to the small size it doesn't wrap around your waist. At 45 x 90 cm, it rolls up small enough to slip straight into your bag on the way out.
